Questionable OEM product August 27, 2008 Mr. Daniel K. Ho (Colton, CA USA) The first drum arrived showed toner particles on the drum roller. Hence we called Amazon customer service to get a replacement. However, the replacement also showed the toner particles on the roller !! Are these refurbish drum unit? If yes, it should indicate on the description. I really would like to know the outcome of your investigation about this.
Office Supplies May 29, 2008 Linda Reinhardt I have been ordering supplies for my Brother MFC for some time now and have been extremely pleased with the entire process from entering the orders, tracking the orders, and to the delivery. Thank you for each worry-free transaction!
OEM Toner May 2, 2008 Michael W. Smith (Chicago, IL USA) I've compared the OEM toner cartridge to the discount refill types and the OEM wins hands down. I print a newsletter for our local club and it's easy to see how much better the photos and graphics are printed. And the price from Amazon is only a couple of dollars more than the 'half-priced' refillers.
Brother DR520 April 28, 2008 G. Smith (Madison, KS) This is not the first time our office has purchased this item from Amazon. As expected, great service from Amazon and the products are new and preform as advertized. Thank you for the great service.
Terrific Value from OEM Brother Drums January 19, 2008 Lawrance J. Morrissey (Indianapolis, IN USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I'm surprised to see the negative reviews for the Brother brand drums. I'm on my second MFC all-in-one device. My first one gave me reliable use to 78,000 copies before it croaked (bad fuser) and I immediately went out and bought another Brother to replace it. The MFC-8860DN is my current model and I've already logged 26,000 copies on it. Over the last few hundred copies, it started making a grinding noise and slightly wrinkling my copies, so knowing it was time for drum replacement, went ahead and ordered one. I once tried a 'refurbished' or aftermarket version which didn't hold up for 10,000 copies, so I've stuck with the Brother brand when it comes to Drums. I consistently got 20,000 copies on my last printer drums, and got 25,000 on this one. I don't know what more you can expect at this price point! I did NOT buy my drum from this website, as I found it for less elsewhere. I like brother printers because the toner cartridges are so easy to refill! I buy toner by the bulk off an auction site, and I'm able to refill each cartridge about 3 times before I begin to see a quality loss. Between the low toner cost and the high output of original OEM Brother drums, I'm skating out cheap! Quality is top notch.
