Product Description The Lexmark High Resolution Standard Yield Color Print Cartridge produces bright and sharp colors on any media at a high resolution of up to 1200x1200 dpi!All Lexmark inkjet cartridges have the actual print head, there where the core inkjet technology lies, integrated to the cartridge bottle. The main advantage to having the print head as an integrated part to the cartridge is that Lexmark customers get a new print head with each cartridge replacement! This is each time like getting a brand new printer all over again! No risk of deterioration of the print head (and therefore a decrease in quality) during the life of the printer as can be the case with other manufacturers who integrate the print head as a fixed part inside the printer itself.1200x1200 dots per inch is the ability that Lexmark print heads have to place individual droplets of ink accurately on a 1200x1200 matrix per square inch of paper. Extreme precision and high resolution lead to the first class print quality provided by Lexmark printheads. For all the color inks Lexmark chooses to use dye-based inks because of their unique ability to create richer and brighter colors, a wider color ink spectrum and light fastness. Lexmark's new ink delivery system uses specially formulated, concentrated color ink for intense colors on plain paper. The new inks used in the printhead are more concentrated so Lexmark uses more color and less water. This means less paper distortion, quicker drying and, most important, sharper, clearer colors. All Lexmark printer drivers offer a choice of printing modes based on the quality required and the time available to customers. The Quick Print mode (600x300 dpi) uses less than 50% of the ink quantity used in higher printing modes and provides a maximum print speed while still ensuring a more than acceptable quality. The Quick Print mode enables you to use the ink in an economical and efficient way based on your specific needs!

ink cartridge October 11, 2007 Gloria Jean Wiley This cartridge is a must-have item for individuals with older computer printers (mine is the COMPAQ ij750). WORKS like a charm.
Unhappy with my purchase. July 9, 2007 V. Paul (Augusta,, GA United States) This item was unsatistfactory, doesn't work, I am not sure why it dont work. Now what do I do with it.
Cost less than shopping at Wal-Mart January 24, 2007 Millennium Community Fellowship (California, Manteca) As many times over the years that I've been to my favorite store...Wal-Mart, never have I found...my Ink Jet cartridge available.
Easy to use December 14, 2003 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is the easiest cartridge to install I have ever used. Also, the colors are great!
Unpredictable quality July 17, 2003 Brad Peters (Riverside, CA USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I went through alot of these cartridges! It seems they use ink excessively (even when we were conscious of trying to print in "draft" mode,) and more often than I'd like to count, a new cartridge, just installed, would produce sub-quality prints ... leaving lines through the print, etc. Not happy.
